Lindsay Transport Hub

We were proud to continue our long partnership with Lindsay Transport who approached SBP Australia to assist with the early design work on their multi-million dollar transport hub in Mareeba. We were subsequently awarded the D&C contract as the result of a formal tender process. The 4,555m² facility incorporates 1,560m² of cold storage with a capacity of up to 600 pallets at one time. With fast cold chillers, custom designed insulated panel, and tailored loading dock access, Lindsay Transport’s Mareeba hub is the most modern and efficient distribution facility in the region. With the depot being situated in a regional town, careful planning was required to ensure the project stayed on track for its targeted completion date. The site team comprised predominantly local workers, giving a boost to the local economy.
